BE A CONQUEROR!!!

Who of us has ever felt defeated, weak, desperate, lost, and hopeless - all of us at some point in our lives, to varying degrees has felt this.  The time for sitting in ashes is through!!  The time for the pity parties, woes me's, and depression is over!! It's time to pull ourselves up by the bootstraps, buck up, suck it up, and be the men and women of God that He created, and expects us to be!!

Let me ask you these questions:

1. Where were you when God created the earth?
2. Did you decide on its size and give Him the blueprint on it's design and measurement?
3. Do you know how God poured the foundation, who set the cornerstone, while the stars sang in chorus and the angels shouted praise?
4. Did you take charge of the ocean when it first gushed?
5. Did you set the boundaries of it so that it couldn't run loose all over the earth?
6. Have you ever ordered the morning to "Get Up!"? Or told the dawn to get to work?
7. Are you able to see all the wickedness done in darkness, caught in the very act when they are brought out by the light?
8. Have you ever scoured the deepest maze like caves at the lowest points of the ocean?
9. Do you know death or have a clue regarding it's dark mysteries?
10. Do you know where light comes from and where darkness lives? Better yet, can you take them by the hand and lead them home when they get lost? Surely, you do, Right?!?
11. Have you ever traveled to where snow is made, and seen the vault where hail is stockpiled in the arsenals of God kept ready for times of trouble, and battle, and war?
12. Can you find your way to where lightning is launched or the place from which the wind blows?
13. Surely, still you carved the canyons with rainstorms, and chart the route of thunderstorms that carpet the wastelands with wildflowers and grass? No?  You must know they don't "just happen" all on their own.
14. Can you catch the stars attention from the sky? Do you know how they truly affect things on earth?
15. Can you grab the attention of the clouds and tell it to rain?
16. What about the lightning bolts? Do they report to you for orders of where to strike? 

And this is just asking questions about the earth, it's beginnings, and the weather we experience living in it.  What about when it comes to the animals living in this earth?  Can any of us teach the lioness to stalk prey and provide for her cubs, or convince the eagle to build its nest in the heights?

I answered no to everyone of these - why? Because I am not God, but I know He exists and that He is able to answer YES to every one of the questions above!!  Whatever is in heaven and under heaven is His and exists only because He created it.  Nothing in heaven or earth can be compared to Him, and He is the One who is to be feared and worshipfully revered above all those heavenly hosts who are round about Him.

We have covenant with Him, as we are the seed of Abraham through the work of his descendent Jesus Christ.  He is our dwelling place. He is from everlasting to everlasting.  He reveals His work to us, and His glory to our children.  He teaches us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.  His beauty, delightfulness, and favor are upon us and establish the work of our hands.  How can we be anything but satisfied with His mercy and loving-kindness?

Study the Word, the Bible, the unfailing truth of God to show yourself approved to God, and so you are armed for battle against your enemy the devil - who goes about seeking whom he may devour.  You know he (the devil) comes as a thief in the night seeking what or who he may steal, kill, or destroy.  Don't let him intimidate you, wear you out, don't believe his lies!!! Why?

1. You are a child of God
2. No weapon formed against you shall prosper
3. God always makes a way of escape from temptation
4. God's plans are to prosper you, so that you may have life and have it more abundantly
5. You are a conqueror and co-heir with Christ
6. God will never give you or allow anything in your life that He has not equipped you to handle
7. You are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood
8. God didn't give you a spirit of fear, but of power, love and a soundmind
9. The Holy Spirit is your comforter, and will guide you into ALL truth
10. Jesus conquered hell and death and took the keys with Him
11. At the end of this age, the devil IS DEFEATED and cast into the lake of fire for all eternity while we dance and sing on the streets of Glory praising our Savior!!!

Be blessed today and encouraged that Christians all around the world face similar struggles as you, but God is able, God is able, God is able to do exceedingly, abundantly above all you could ever hope or imagine!!

Praise Him today and always, be wary of your enemy, love your neighbor as yourself, guard your tongue against evil, guard your heart against false teachings, protect/serve/ and love your family, and above ALL else put God first daily in everything you do.
